Helen's Background
Helen Dimond is a Speech Pathologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children and teenagers in a variety of settings and places across the state. Helen is passionate about giving children a voice to express themselves so that they can be the best they can be.!
Helen graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 and has worked in schools, private practice, was the Lead speech pathologist for BUSH kids and has subcontracted for the Queensland Children’s hospital. Helen is married to Peter and they have two teenage children.
She enjoys drinking tea and enjoying the many beautiful natural locations the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
Annalisa's Background
Annalisa graduated as a Speech Pathologist from the University of Queensland in 2003. She has over 20 years of experience working with children across various settings, including community health, child development diagnostic services, schools, hospitals (inpatient and outpatient), and private practice.
Annalisa is experienced in supporting families in understanding their child’s development and how to optimise their child’s development and learning. Annalisa focuses on connecting and building rapport with children and families and provides guiding steps to help families support their child’s developmental potential.
Annalisa is married to Brian, and they have a daughter (hopefully a future speech pathologist) and a lively Dalmatian, Homer. She enjoys drinking good coffee, spending time with family & friends, walking Homer, baking and watercolour painting.
Sorrell's Background
Sorrell is a Speech Pathologist who completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Speech Pathology through Griffith university. With 7 years experience working with paediatric populations with not-for-profits and private practices, throughout her career she has worked as a therapist, clinical educator and supervisor, and is well-experienced in children with complex communication needs
Sorrell is based in Tweed Heads on the Gold Coast, and is offering mobile therapy services across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
In her spare time, you can find her at the beach, catching up with friends for coffee or spending time with her partner and daughter.
